THE RADIO VOICE OF THE GOSPEL FUTURE EXPECTATIONS:
It is expected that when RVOG reaches to its full-fledged services it would provide the following four key services:
ˇ Radio Broadcasting will be heard all over East, Central and Southern Africa.
ˇ Church TV Service will cover the whole of Tanzania
ˇ Modern recording system and production will be established
ˇ An enhanced efficient internet café will be available to all people.
It is proposed that this strategic plan should help the church, (ELCT), in developing effective and modern media communication facilities to replace or improve those established four decades ago. Indeed, it is still of great importance in extending the living Gospel of God as revealed in Jesus Christ to the present and the future generations. The mission of RVOG is always given in the Word of God. "You have seen what I did to the Egyptians, and how I bore you on eagles' wings and brought you to myself. Now therefore, if you obey my voice and keep my covenant, you shall be my treasured possession out of all the peoples …you shall be for me a priestly kingdom and a holy nation. "Exodus 19:4-6. That is, the Church of Christ is "a kingdom, priests serving" Jesus Christ's God and Father (Rev. 1:5b - 6) because the Gospel is the "Voice of Christ" (John 10:3 - 5). This voice of Christ is heard through the proclamation of the one sent (Rom. 10:14 - 17). The task of the Radio Voice of the God is to proclaim Christ - to be the voice in the wilderness bringing living-hope to all.
